Divisibility Rule for 3

Rule for 3 are all whole numbers who`s sum are divisible by 3.

For example:

Is the 2601 divisible by 3?

Yes! because 2+6+0+1=9 and 9 is multiple by 3.

Is the 4567 divisible by 3?

No! because 4+5+6+7= 22 and 22 is not multiple of 3.

Rule for 3

You have to add up the digits in the number, if the sum is divisible by 3 without remainders its divisible by 3!

ex. 1233

1+2+3+3= 9 ÷ 3 = 3

1233 is divisible by 3

Rule for 6

If a number is divisible by 3 and 2 it is divisible by 6

Rule for 6

If the number is divisible by 2 and 3 it's divisible by 6

Rule for 10

All numbers must end in zero

Rule for 5

All numbers must end in 0-5
