Write each repeating decimal number using notation.

a. 0.555555 =

Answer: 0.5

Put the bar notation on top of 5 (tenths).

b. 0.090909 =

Answer: 0.09

Put the bar notation on top of 0 (tenths) and 9 (hundredths)

c. 0.1877777 =

Answer: 0.187

Put the bar notation on top of 7 (thousandths)

d. 2.0151515 =

Answer: 2.015

Put the bar notation on top of 1 (hundredths) and 5 (thousandths)
