eg: 3 is divisible by 1 also 11 can be divisible by 1.

### Divisbility Rules

1. All whole numbers are divisible by 1

2. All even numbers are divisible by 2

3 - if the sum of the digits is divisible by 3

4. All numbers that are divisible by 2, two times
5. Ending in 0 or 5

6. If its divisible by both 2 and 3

7. None try to make one!

8. All numbers that are divisible by 2, 3 times

9. If the sum of the digits is divisible by 9

10. All numbers ending in 0

a Quotient is the answer to a division question.
Eg. 12 divided by 12 = 1

1 is the Quotient.

Rule for 1
All whole numbers are divisible by 1
e.g. 3÷1=3
111÷1=111

Rule for 2
All even numbers are divisible by 2
Even numbers end in 2,4,6,8,0
Odd numbers end in 1,3,5,7,9

Rule for 3
The sum of the digits is divisible by 3
e.g.1+2+3+6=1+2=3
3 is divisible by 3

Rule for 4
4=2x2
All numbers that are divisible by 2 twice
e.g. 16÷2=8
8÷2=4
Then 16 is divisible by 4

Rule for 5
All numbers  ending in 0 or 5
e.g. 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40

If the number is divisible by 2 and 3, then it is divisible by 6.
e.g. 2x3=6

All numbers divisible by 2 three times
e.g. 24÷2=12
12÷2=6
6÷2=3

The sum of the digits is divisible by 9
e.g. 1+8+9+7+2+3+6= 3+6 = 9
9 is divisible by nine.

Rule for 10
All numbers that end in 0 are divisible by 10
e.g. 10,20,30,40,50,60,70....etc.

Rule for 0
No number is divisible by zero
It is impossible

### Divisibility Rules!

1 - all whole numbers are divisible by 1
Eg. 3 divided by 1 = 3

2 - all even numbers are divisible by 2
E V E N - 2, 4, 6, 8,...(and so on.... you know it all)
O D D - 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 .... etc...(you know it all too)

3 - if the sum of the digits is divisible by 3
Eg. 1234 1+2+3+4 = 12 1+2 = 3

4 - All numbers that are divisible by 2 twice
Eg. 16 divided by 2 = 8. 8 divided by 2 = 4
so 16 is divisible by 4

5 - ending in 0 or 5
like in the 5 times table :D

6 - if its divisible by both 2 and 3

7 - *not discovered* but you can make one :D

8 - All numbers that are divisible by 2 thrice
Eg. 24 divided by 2 = 12. 12 divided by 2 = 6. 6 divided by 2 = 3.
24 is divisible by 8

9 - if the sum of the digits is divisible by 9

10 - all numbers ending in 0
like counting by 10's! (ten times table)

0 - no numbers are divisible by 0.

is the top number that tells us how many pieces we have.

### Divisibility by 10

If you don't know the divisibility rules for 10 you must be stupid(just kidding). It is the easiest rule in the math history I think. Any number that ends with a zero are divisible by 10 for Example

The bottom number of a fraction and tells us how many equal parts the whole is divided into
