Data set is a group of numbers that you MUST arrange in order from least to greatest.
Median - the middle number in a set of data after the data has been arranged in order.
Median of 2,5,6,8,9 is 6
Median of 1,3,6,8,9,10 is seven because the pairs are 1&10 3&9 6&8 but there is no number left? thats when the seven comes in... 7 is in between 6&8 so.. that means that 7 is the median of this data set.
