What is probability?

Probability- likelihood or chance of an event occurring.

We can determine probability by making a fraction.
favorable outcomes

possible outcomes

eg: flipping a coin   favorable  =       1
                            _______           __
                            possible     =       2

probability can be expressed (said or written) using fractions, ratio and percent.
