Measures of Central Tendency: Mean

Mean is the measure of tendency.
-the set of values divided by the number of values in the data set.

eg: what is the mean of 6,4,8

solution:
first, add up all the numbers.
6+4+8= 18
then, divide the result by how many numbers there are.
18 ÷3= 6

therefore the mean is 6.
