Math: Probabilities

Probability: Likelihood or chance of an event occuring.
Example: We determine probability by making a fraction:
Favourable outcomes
Possible outcomes


-Outcome: One possible result of a probability experiment.
-Favourable Outcome: A successful result of a probability experiment.


p(outcome): is short for saying probability of something happening.
Example: p(5) when rolling a die.
