DENOMINATOR AND NUMERATOR
Denominator
is the bottom number of a fraction and tell us how many equal parts the whole is divided into.
example:
3
/
4
4 is the denominator.
Numerator
is the top number of a fraction and tell us how many parts of the whole we have or dealing with.
example:
5
/
6
5 is the numerator.
